Job Summary
The Field Engineer will play a central role in the implementation of SDO’s AHF-funded Transitional Shelter Project in Farah and Ghazni provinces. This will include direct supervision of the construction of transitional shelters, as well as major and minor repairs for identified vulnerable households. The role requires strong technical expertise in shelter construction in humanitarian contexts, familiarity with ES/NFI Cluster standards, and the ability to oversee field construction activities in challenging environments. The Field Engineer will ensure that all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality and safety standards.
