Job Descriptions:

HesabPay Transaction Verification

  • Verify the validity of HesabPay transactions related to cash assistance disbursements.
  • Confirm that phone numbers and linked bank accounts used in HesabPay are valid and belong to the registered beneficiaries as per HesabPay’s identity protocols.
  • Monitor for activities in HesabPay accounts, including transactions or identity, and report these to HEWAD/UNHCR management and relevant authorities.
  • Ensure that all HesabPay transactions comply with the terms and conditions outlined by HesabPay, including refund and reversal policies, identity verification requirements, and transaction record retention.

Beneficiary Identity Verification

  • Conduct verification and cross-check beneficiary information against registration data and HesabPay records to prevent multiple registrations and other discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with registration teams to update and maintain accurate beneficiary records.
  • Support periodic verification exercises to re-establish accurate population figures and beneficiary eligibility, as recommended monthly or needed.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintain records of verification activities, discrepancies found, and resolutions.
  • Prepare regular reports on HesabPay transaction verification outcomes, including any irregularities, and submit to HEWAD management.
  • Coordinate with the Payment Processing Monitoring Officer to ensure clear delineation.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in monitoring and verification roles within cash-based interventions, preferably with knowledge of HesabPay or similar digital payment platforms.
  • Strong understanding of identity verification processes, biometric data, and fraud prevention techniques.
  • Ability to analyze transaction data and identify discrepancies.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with staff.
  • Familiarity with UNHCR’s cash assistance programs and data protection principles is an advantage.
