Afghan Health and Development Services (AHDS) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization founded by Afghans on April 7th, 1990.  AHDS is an active member of the Afghan NGOs Coordination Bureau (ANCB), the Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief (ACBAR), and the Alliance of Health Organizations (AHO). AHDS is one of the first signatories of the Codes of Conduct for NGOs engaged in humanitarian action, reconstruction, and development in Afghanistan.

The main office: AHDS is registered as a national NGO with the Ministry of Economy – Afghanistan. The registration number (5) was renewed on 25 Aug 2005 (old number 219 on 18 Nov 1999). Its TIN is 100 005 5 010.

1. Act according to the organization policies and procedures (HR, FIN, and LOG).
2. Overall leading, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, follow up coordination and reporting of FHH project.
3. Implementing the FHH services in line with MoPH policies and standards.
4. Responsible for overall implementation of FHH activities based on project deliverables.
5. Lead the FHH team to be up dated of the project progress, preparing of regular monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual report.
6.  To support supervisors for strengthening supervision/monitoring and management of FHH health facilities,
7. Ensure a professional technical atmosphere among the team to develop/identify, implement and supervise the FHH /MOPH seven components (FHH -2023) required standard services. 
8. Coordinate and Follow the implementation of project work plan activities and objectives by different sections.
9. Develop plans (supervision plans, quality improvement) with team, supervise the implementation of the plan and give timely feedback.
10. Direct supervision of FHH team and HFs performances and records based on FHH Guideline.
11. Compile the BPHS team activities reports and achievements and prepare the project technical reports and staff performance rating to administrative department on monthly bases.
12. Finalize the FHH s activities reports, and achievements and FHH staff performance rating to administrative department on monthly bases.
13. Ensure active project supplies chain (materials, pharmaceuticals) to the health facilities through set channels and regulations.
14. Ensure the implementation of the quality improvement in FHH and its follow up by different sections.
15. Participate in technical meetings and conduct in charge meetings and project feed backs.
16. Promote an attitude of team spirit and a strong focus on quality among the members of the department.
17. Participate in all coordination meeting with, UNFPA agencies, NGOs and government agencies.

• Medical Doctor At least 4 years’ experience in Public health management
• Interpersonal and managerial and conflict resolution skills.
• Communication skills and knowledge of local communities.
• Knowledge of English, Dari and Pashto Languages.
