Action for welfare and Development of Rural Environment Organization (AWDREO) is a non-governmental, Non-profit and non- political Organization engaged in Multi Sector programs in the realms of Education, Livelihood, Community Development, Capacity building, Human Resource Management, Emergency Response health and WASH.

AWDREO established in 2015, aims to be a catalyst for promoting peace, stability and development, alongside the government of Afghanistan, by targeting the marginalized. Women, girl’s youth and children, the illiterate and the poor people in Rural Communities.

• Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures, and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
• Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness, and accident prevention
• Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
• Coordinate or manage primary patient care

• Support PSS staff with referral and follow-up of cases requiring referral to Mental Health PHC consultation or specialized care.

• Review complicated mental health cases women and children take the final decision on referral to the hospital.
• Carried out General OPD for other non-communicable diseases to women.
•  Ensure appropriate education and counseling are given to the beneficiaries and caretakers.

• Ensure accurate record keeping of all medical activities in the provided center
• Submit required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Carry out required quality checks according to provided checklists.

• Graduate of a recognized Medical University and have taken the government Exit exam.
•  At least 4 years of progressive work experience in the health sector, preferably mental health
• Fluency in English and Dari/Pashto languages is highly desirable.

• Ability to develop and implement work plans
•  Having respectful attitude towards team members and community members
•  Flexibility in working hours

• Maintains clear and consistent communication with the line manager and other team members.
• Willingness to listen and consider the pros and cons of opinions
