Job Descriptions:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall EPI related activities at BARAN main and provincial offices.
  • Submit and analyze all EPI related action plans and feedbacks to donner and other related entity timely.
  • Submit and analyze all EPI related monthly, Quarterly, semiannual and annual reports to donner and other related entity timely.
  • Preparing End project report of all EPI related projects.
  • Active participation in polio related activities in main and provincial office level.
  • Represent BARAN in NEOC meetings and other EPI related meeting.
  • Provide technical and other support during NIDs and sub NIDs to provincial office.
  • Coordinate all EPI related activities with NEOC, NEPI and other MoPH departments.
  • Supervise, monitored and evaluate the projects activity at provincial level.
  • Responsible to maintain effective coordination and close communication with NEOC, NEPI, WHO, UNICEF other MoPH departments and UN agencies and other stakeholders at central and provincial level to ensure proper EPI services placed as per set plans.
  • Conduct monitoring mission from field as per project needs.
  • Provide technical support to field office on regular base.
  • Providing monthly analytical reports to Executive Director and Technical Director.
  • Ensure HF and field office monitoring/assessment.
  • Any other tasks and responsibilities as required for the implementation of the project and requested or given by Executive Director or Technical Director.
  • Ensure frequently field visit to all BARAN offices

 

Job Requirements:

 

    •    MD or Public Health Degree or realted to EPI
    •    At least 8 years of proven experience in the field EPI and public health
    •    Strong knowledge of EPI, cold chain, and vaccine management.
    •    Skills in planning, reporting, and supervision.
    •    Good communication and coordination abilities.
    •    Proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English.
    •    Willing to travel to field locations.
