• Chief financial officer is responsible for overall financial management of Aurum-Afghanistan.
• Responsible for preparing financial reports, budgets, and financial statements for the organization.
• Provides managements with financial analyses, development budgets & reports.
• Responsible for financial forecasting and risks analysis.
• Performs cash management, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
• Responsible for developing and managing financial systems and policies.
• Responsible for administering payrolls.
• Ensures compliance with taxation legislation.
• Handles all financial transactions for the organization.
• Serves as internal auditor for the organization.
• Any other assignment assigned by Chief Executive office and board of supervisor.
• Drive the company’s financial planning.
• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
• Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
• Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure.
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations.
• Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
• Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system.
