About BARAN:

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE), Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ). In order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity-building programs.

Job Descriptions:

The HR officer is reportable to BARAN Operation Director. The following items are the main responsibilities of HR officer:

  • To implement HR data base and documents for all the MO and PO.
  • Recruitment of staff for all the projects including HER;
  • Implementing staff management tools including job descriptions and time sheets;
  • Follow up all staff in different bases has staff files, contracts, timesheets, CV, application form, covering letter, diplomas and all related documents.
  • Ensure the original staff files are available in the MO each month.
  • Preparation and follow up of staff list for different projects.
  • Coordinating/ organizing training on different points for the capacity building of the staff with Organization Capacity Development Director;
  • Scheduling and following up for evaluation and performance/appraisal of all staff in different projects;
  • Preparation and checking of the attendance sheet or time sheets on monthly bases.
  • Checking and follow up of staff days-off on the standard days-off follow up database.
  • Performing daily admin activities of the organization in absence of Admin Officer;
  • Supporting operation director in any related issues;
  • Preparing the monthly staff leaver/joiner reports.
  • Conduct/Preparing Human resource development plan.
  • Monitor and solving staff conflict issue in CMO/PMOs.
  • Conducting of any other task given order and released from line manager based on organization context.

Job Requirements:

  • BBA degree;
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in the field of admin and HR;
  • Strong communications skills;
  • Good English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills
  • Proficient computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, design and presentations

 

 

Other skills required:

  • Efficiency, result-oriented and excellent management capabilities;
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues in a responsible and mature manner;
  • Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity;
  • Ability to travel throughout country;
  • Ability to use information technology effectively.
