About BARAN:

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD) and in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs
 

Job Descriptions:

  • Responsible for the overall communication activities in the province after taking approval from Project manager.
  • Responsible for the overall communication activities of the project and to oversee that the communication activities are conducted on a regular basis.
  • Ensure active participation in provincial level meetings and health related sessions on behalf of BARAN provincial project team and provide information regarding project/s and give possible technical assistance and inputs.
  • Ensure assistance to the project manager/deputy project manager and other technical staff in planning, organizing and implementing different health activities in the province as per MoPH and organization guidelines and instructions.
  • Responsible to evaluate and assess different health activities at provincial level based on routine technical and financial reports and prepare technical feedback and provide corrective measures to other project office staff accordingly;
  • Accountable to keep country or main office updated regarding overall health activities and requirements of the organization
  • Ensure building good team work enthusiasm and better understanding/coordination among project management team, local provincial stakeholders and community elders
  • Along with other project staff and supervisors, ensure regular supportive supervision of filed activities
  • and monitoring of BARAN health project/s and share evidence –based findings and feedback with project office staff and He/she will work direct under the leadership of provincial project manager.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience at field;
  • Bachler degree /Similar degree;
  • Strong communications skills;
  • Fluent English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills
  • Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design and presentations

  • Efficiency, result-oriented and excellent management capabilities;
  • Ability of problem solving and conflict resolution;
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues in a responsible and mature manner;
  • Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity;
  • Ability to travel throughout country;
  • Respect confidentiality of organization;
  • Ability to use information technology effectively.
