Job Descriptions:

Health Supervisor for the Healthcare Services will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of healthcare services. He will be responsible for the overall technical management of the project at the provincial level, supervising technical aspects of the project, including referral services, medicine and medical supply, reporting, and provision of feedback.

Responsibilities:

  • Led the technical implementation of the health Project.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop and execute detailed work plans.
  • Coordinate the procurement, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and medicines.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a system for patient referrals to higher-level healthcare facilities.
  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of referral processes.
  • Identify training needs among healthcare staff and develop training programs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project team members.
  • Implement quality control mechanisms to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and supervision to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and data related to project activities.
  • Collecting reports, review and providing feedback to HFs,
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress and technical aspects.
  • Foster strong relationships with local healthcare providers, government authorities, and community leaders.
  • Ensure active community participation in terms of constructive feedback, awareness raising, local resource mobilization and project health activities assessment/monitoring.
  • Represent the organization in technical discussions and meetings.
  • Any other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree of Medical Doctor (MD) or Midwifery.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare project supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of primary healthcare principles and practices & BPHS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in challenging and resource-constrained environments.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and data management tools.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken); is an advantage
