About BARAN:

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD) and Ministry of Women Affairs (MoWA) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.

Job Descriptions:

  • Monthly Performance review of the provincial and health facility staff
  • Ensure Weekly HMIS Data collection and reporting including time and data accuracy
  • Monthly HMIS data verification and community verification of all HMIS reports of HFs and ensure all the steps taken to sustain the reporting transparency.
  • Focusing activities on quality monitoring and effective supervision
  • Monthly activity and report cross check of all departments to ensure zero Discrepancy rate  
  • Maintaining coordination and collaboration between all departments and levels
  • Maintain above 95% performance rate in all HER Indicators
  • Developing action plans and follow up plans for any finding 
  • Weekly overall indictor achievement report to technical manager including next week plans and activities
  • Continuous follow up of project implementation and project activity progress tracking  
  • Zero tolerance in delay and duplication of activities and reporting
  • Operating the HMIS & other relevant databases, updating & analyzing information timely & regularly;
  • Providing reliable, compile, accurate & timely information & reports for planning and decision-making process;
  • Monitoring HMIS activities & providing regular feedbacks;
  • Participating in joint monitoring planning in close coordination with PPHD;
  • Coordination with all stockholders for updated data base and information system;
  • Data cross check and verification across the informative databases based on HMIS data quality assurance checklist;
  • Target setting for Project indicators for all HFs;
  • Timely supply of updated HMIS Tools for all types of HFs and HPs;
  • Maintaining and further strengthening of coordination with the MoPH/PPHD, UNICEF, WHO, EOC, REMT/ PEMT, community and other stakeholders in relation to data management;
  • Capacity building, supportive supervision and on the job trainings for the relevant staff;
  • Ensuring all HMIS related committees and working task forces are functional.
  • Responsible for managing information for the project and ensuring the integrity of data throughout the system
  • Collecting monthly reports from HFs on regular basis.
  • Operates the M&E and other relevant databases, updates and analyze the information timely and regularly
  • Provides reliable, accurate, and timely information and reports for planning and decision-making purposes
  • Ensure technical assistance and active involvement in certain project level assignments like conducting of household surveys, CAAC etc at provincial level (if applicable)
  • Responsible to share M&E, reporting and filed performance related issue both with field staff based on filed visits findings and report analysis.
  • Ensure effective team work and coordination with project staff and provincial M&E and PHO team in order to ensure the performance and data of the project as per project targets and update M&E guideline.
  • Any other tasks and responsibilities as required for the implementation of the project and assigned by direct supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience at field of health;
  • MD;
  • Strong communications skills;
  • Fluent English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills
  • Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design and presentations
