Afghan Youth Services Organization (AYSO) is a National Afghan NGO registered in 2006 with the MoEc of Afghanistan with registration No:397.AYSO since came into being has developed, successfully implemented, and provided direct assistance services in different   sectors such as health, educational, Food Security,  Capacity building, GBV Prevention and Response, Peace, Justice Research, and Surveys human rights and awareness projects and programs with the technical and financial support of several UN Agencies such as UNDP,UNFPA, UNICEF, WFP, and WHO, AYSO has implemented projects with government ministries and departments as well as has been being implementing partner with AAH/USAID, FHI, BARC, AADA,HEWAD, and other National and International Organization

Scope of Work:
The CBNP master trainer will conduct CBNP TOT to the Community Health Supervisors
(CHSs), and CBNP refresher to the Community Health Workers (CHWs), and
Community Health Volunteers (CHV), being prime responsible and ensuring effective
and efficient management of training, provision of support to the CHSs/CHWs,
supportive supervision of CBNP, MMP, and C-WIFS activities, reporting, and
coordination of program activities as required
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Develop training plan in coordination with the project manager/coordinator and
finance team and other relevant departments to ensure timely availability of
resources for conducting the planned activities.
 Conduct Training of Nutrition Mobilization Team (NMT) at the provincial level
based on the CBNP manual
 Excellent communication and presentation skills in Persian, and Pashtu.
 Good skills in writing specifically reports
 Conduct refresher training for CHWs at the provincial level based on the CBNP
training manual
 Support the capacity building of relevant stakeholders including the PPHD at the
provincial level on CBNP manual.
 Facilitate the cross-learning between CBNP and other projects of AYSO and take
part in knowledge-sharing events
 Conduct regular supportive supervision from the CHS/HPs activities and provide
them technical support
 Assist the project team in the assessment of the implementation process of the
community nutrition plan
 Perform any other task as assigned by the Provincial Project Coordinator.
 Active participation in the relevant meetings at the central and provincial levels.
 Risk analysis of the overall project implementation and reports to the project
manager/coordinator and managing director (H&N).
           To work closely in proper closeout of the projects

The CBNP master trainer must hold Male MD, Public Health or Nurse with relevant
experience, and Female MD or Midwife with relevant experience with preferred public
health-relevant short and mid-term courses. He should have full knowledge of nutrition
SOPs, especially CBNP guidelines. He/She should have teaching, reporting, monitoring
and supportive supervision and coordination skills.
He/She must already has received MIYCN and CBNP ToT training along with at least 2 years
working experience in MIYCN/CBNP training package with national or international
organizations. Familiar with reporting, data collection, data analysis, data interpretation. Fluent
in speaking and writing Pushto, Dari and good in English. He/She should have the ability to
travel the very remoted districts and villages of the of Kandahar province. Be a couple or with
muharam (Couples with the relevant experiences are highly preferred).
Candidates with holding MD degree and with aforementioned conditions are highly preferred
given choice.
