Purpose for the job:
The ACO having secured funds for humanitarian cash transfer (HCT) activities, and to facilitate service delivery in priority sectors through payment of incentives, the Programme Officer is responsible for fulfilling key support functions that contribute to ensuring an agile and risk managed project implementation strategy (design, planning, implementation and monitoring) is implemented for cash transfer activities; supports to provide oversight, quality assurance for the project implementation cycle ensuring application of the respective operational policies and procedures. As part of the overall management approach, the Programme Officer also supports the PMU and Cash Transfer team to maintain a close partnership and dialogue with the relevant ACO Programme Sections.
