Job Descriptions:

Scope of Work

This role involves supporting various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. Additionally, providing support through the recruitment processes including applicant management. Scheduling written tests and interviews for job candidates.

Job Location:

3rd District- Kabul

Reporting:

The HR officer reports to the Human Resource Department and senior Management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Organize interview process, ensuring selection and preparation of the interview committee, receiving of interviewees, follow-up with interviewees, and required documentation.
  • Implement hiring process: Help, conduct, document, and verify references in consultation with the hiring manager ensure the job contract and all HR/administrative documentation for personnel file is complete; prepare payroll and submit to Finance on the due date
  • Initiate recruitment processes, ensure approved documentation, advertise new posts on the career website and job webpage, and organize the short-listing process.
  • Ensure that all HR documentation is completed and filed and that personnel records are complete and kept confidential.
  • Listening to grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
  • Planning and sometimes delivering training, including inductions for new staff; and creation of an alert system for the contracts.
  • Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination
  • Review and update annual appraisal forms for staff members.
  • Any other project-related task assigned by the project supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Job Requirement:

•        Graduate /Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration or Business Administration, or a related field OR degree in another field combined with a professional qualification in accounting or finance

•        3 or 5 years of relevant experience in the field of HR, management, 

•        Computer skills at the operator level, especially with Quickbooks and MS Office packages

•        Fluency in English and Dari and/or Pashto, both written and spoken.

•        Experience in planning and reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-ethnic team and take on diverse tasks.
  • Team worker, Analytical and Troubleshooting skills
  • Honest, proactive, and well-mannered.
  • To be an Afghan National.

  • The staff makes sure that all security policies and procedures set by the organization are considered well and followed during the times he/she is working. S/he is responsible for his/her security during official times either at the campus or on mission if policies are not followed.

  • He/she is responsible for the safety of all ODRHs and project assets delivered to her/him. S/he must ensure that all safety measurements are taken for any assets for which she/he is responsible and consider ODRH’s asset safety policy. 

 

General:

  • Act according to the policy and regulations of ODRH
  • Keep updated with issues related to ODRH and the environment where ODRH     operates.
  • Do related jobs as delegated by the project coordinator or Project Manager

 

 

INTERDICTION:

To speak on behalf of ODRH without permission from the line manager,

To use ODRH property for his/her own benefit,

Being in a condition of intoxication (drug, alcohol...) or transporting drugs or alcohol while on duty,

All other interdictions are stipulated in the HR Policy and Procedure Manual along with the disciplinary measures.
