Job Descriptions:

  • Assist Project manager in developing operational plan and in smooth implementation of the project.
  • Ensure all MoPH and AADA technical policies, guidelines and procedures are understood and followed by the field staff.
  • Ensure all health facilities are staffed and equipped adequately.
  • Develop and propose capacity building plan.
  • Assist Project manager in staff performance evaluation based on the pre-established indicators and tools and develop plan for better performance of each individual staff.
  • Participate in project evaluation and facilitate activity of external monitors.
  • Provide support to the field staff in conduction of outreach activities and follow up on refusal list.
  • Plan for establishment of learning centers and organize technical assistance the target health facilities. Evaluate the progress and implement replication plan.
  • Assist project manager in developing monthly, quarterly, annual and end of project reports.
  • Follow all AADA operational guidelines, policies, procedures and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative works/ performance.
  • Ensuring proper pharmacy management of SHCs that includes the consumption, supplies, stocks, rational use of drug, etc.
  • Meet regularly with health shuras, community leaders and other stakeholders, to ensure project effectiveness and community involvement in project implementation.
  • Ensuring that “Do No Harm” practices are incorporated and upheld throughout the planning and implementation of the project. 
  • Maintaining good working relations with key actors in the province and represent AADA team in different technical task forces.

           Any duties assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

  • Registered Medical Doctor with three years’ experience in project management, BPHS supervision and monitoring. 
  • Proficient in MS office (esp. excel and world).
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote health facilities and villages.
  • Fluency in written and spoken local languages and English. 
  • Knowledge of local environment.
