MEAL Officer (Call for CVs)

Vision Development Organization (VDO), founded in 2015 by Afghan women leaders, is a national, women-led NGO dedicated to advancing the dignity, resilience, and leadership of women, youth, and marginalized communities. Despite Afghanistan’s complex humanitarian and governance challenges, VDO has grown into a trusted, principled, and adaptive organization, delivering programs in protection, education, livelihoods, social inclusion, and community development across multiple provinces. Anchored in integrity, accountability, and operational excellence, VDO upholds strong governance, safeguarding, and compliance standards while championing women’s leadership and equitable, high-quality service delivery.

• Implement field-level monitoring, data collection, verification, accountability, and reporting activities.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation, verify beneficiary selection, check service quality, and document progress against workplans and indicators.
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data using approved tools and digital platforms.
• Support baseline, endline, PDM, satisfaction surveys, needs assessments, and project evaluations. Prepare field monitoring reports with findings, evidence, photos, challenges, and recommendations.
• Track beneficiary data, attendance, distribution records, training records, and project outputs.
• Support complaint and feedback mechanisms by receiving, recording, and referring feedback according to confidentiality procedures.
• Work closely with program teams to verify activities and follow up on corrective actions. Ensure ethical data collection, informed consent, safeguarding, data protection, and respect for communities during all MEAL activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of MEAL or field monitoring experience.
• Practical knowledge of surveys, verification, reporting, and data collection tools.
• Ability to travel frequently to field locations; strong documentation and communication skills.
• English excellent, Dari and Pashtu fluent.
