Job Description For Customer Support Officer and IT Technician:

Working with HKB-ICT requires full sort of work experience, strong interpersonal skills, good orientation towards working with people in group or lonely, strong intentions to work and grow, able to under loads and be task oriented.

The postholder will lead the development of our portfolio in Afghanistan, including identifying future business development opportunities and overseeing the writing of new project proposals. The post holder will ensure effective office management so that all functions are carried out in line with organization rules, local regulatory requirements and HKB-ICT guidelines. 

Generally, applicants need to earn at least three years of professional experience in the fields of installation, troubleshoots, alignment and other information technology related area within the relevant scope of business.

You must be able to form and cultivate effective relationships huge range of customer at all levels, which will be considered as key to your success. You should be able to manage effective teamwork.

You must also have strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, be able to make decisions concerning IT goral and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Managers in this industry should have strong technical skills. Some courses you may take for a degree program related to IT technical clerk include the following:

  • Networking

KEY COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Good Knowledge of Mikrotik routers, Cisco Router and Cisco switch
  • IT Certification: Microsoft MCSE, CCNA is required.
  • Coordinating and maintaining high level of technical support
  • Excellent understanding of network technology concepts and usage.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in ISP/ICT Companies

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Troubleshoot the client indoor units and routers.
  • Documents and report network problems and resolution for future reference.
  • Have a sound knowledge of latest wireless technologies and equipment.
  • Familiar with ISP power system components.
  • Connect and set up hardware and point to point testing
  • Input and maintain IP addresses and be familiar with getting remote access
  • know all troubleshooting procedure and IP related commands
  • Respond to user needs and questions regarding network access.
  • Perform other related duties as required during working hours programs
  • Provide Technical support to Technical Team, end-users(clients),
  • Assist IT Manager in providing IT-related support to all technical team and clients with a friendly and customer service-driven attitude
  • Ability to troubleshoot common hardware/software issues
  • Knowledge of security infrastructure, including anti-virus & firewalls.
  • Assist with network and security management
  • any other task assigned by supervisor.
  • Implement and monitor of all Data and Servers backup.
  • Maintain operations activity logs, event trail and hardware error logs.
  • Implementation and maintenance of all the IP networks.

 

Job Requirments for IT Technician (WIFI Services Installer)

  • Good Skill and Knowledge in IT Network Security
  • Excellent Technical Skill in IT Network Routing and Switching (CCNA, MCP, MTCNA, Huawei RTN)
  • Language requirements: English
  • Ability to meet deadlines; work under pressure, tact, negotiation skills, organizational skills etc.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and decision-making skills.
  • Be familiar with network operating system and Telecommunication basics

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Install and configure wireless point to multipoint antennas.
  • Install and configure wireless equipment plus home AP, routers and switch.
  • Troubleshoot the client indoor units and routers.
  • Documents and report network problems and resolution for future reference.
  • Have a sound knowledge of latest wireless technologies and equipment.
  • Able to climb on tower and work at heights (should be added)
  • Familiar with ISP power system components. (should be added)
  • Install Telecom/IT equipment at customer premises
  • Connect and set up hardware and point to point testing
  • Input and maintain IP addresses and be familiar with getting remote access
  • know all troubleshooting procedure and IP related commands
  • Respond to user needs and questions regarding network access.
  • Perform other related duties as required during working hours programs
