Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an international, non-profitable, non-governmental humanitarian relief organization with its head quarter in Birmingham, UK. It enjoys consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a signatory to the Code of Conduct for International Red Cross and red Crescent Moments and NGOs in Disaster Relief. Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.
Job Summary
At Islamic Relief Worldwide Afghanistan, we are committed to providing young talents with the tools and opportunities to advance and grow professionally, in alignment with our core values: Sincerity, Excellence, Custodianship, Compassion, and Social Justice. In this regard, we have launched a program under the HELP Project Youth Component, aimed at hiring and developing young graduates. This initiative equips them with the necessary skills to succeed in future positions across various departments, while enhancing their employability in the local job market.
The program focuses on building a talent pool that is well-rounded, strengthening both technical abilities and essential behavioral/life skills. Additionally, it provides young individuals with the chance to refine their skills, share their experiences, and contribute meaningfully in a professional context.
Key objectives of the program include:
Duties & Responsibilities
· Assist the Program Officers in planning and implementation of the OSP activities.
· Assist the Program Officers in identification and verification orphans in the targeted province.
· Assist the program officer in conducting home visits.
· Assist and lead the orphans in opening bank accounts and getting their identity card.
· Assist orphans for withdrawing their quarter payments.
· Update orphan records and to evaluate the progress and impact of the project on orphan and family life.
· Ensure orphan personal files are up to date.
· Write reports & Case studies (success stories) on status of the orphans and his/her progress.
· Keep tracking of the uploaded files in Excel Sheet.
· Update the orphan database regularly and upload the forms and information.
· Ensure adherence to the IR Child Protection Policy.
· Any other relevant tasks assigned by the line supervisor.

· No Experience Required- Fresh Graduate
Competency:
· Good communication Skills in English, Dari, and Pashto.
· Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
· Familiar with MS Office Package and Problem-solving skills.
