Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

Job Summary

In this regard, we have launched a program under the HELP Project Youth Component, aimed at hiring and developing young graduates. This initiative equips them with the necessary skills to succeed in future positions across various departments, while enhancing their employability in the local job market.

The program focuses on building a talent pool that is well-rounded, strengthening both technical abilities and essential behavioral/life skills. Additionally, it provides young individuals with the chance to refine their skills, share their experiences, and contribute meaningfully in a professional context.

Key objectives of the program include:

 

  • Providing young people with real-world work experience, enabling them to gain both technical expertise and the interpersonal skills needed for successful teamwork.
  • Promoting personal growth by encouraging youth to step out of their comfort zones, take on new challenges, and assume greater responsibilities.
  • Preparing young people for full-time employment by introducing them to workplace standards, expectations, and professional ethics.
  • Equip Youths with Marketable skills.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

·      Assist in developing field activity plans in close coordination with the project medical doctor.

·      Assist in assessing and identifying children, women, and girls in targeted communities for psychosocial support.

·      Assist in scheduling and conducting field meetings with CDC heads, women leaders, parents, and other target beneficiaries.

·      Assist in conducting psychosocial training sessions based on predeveloped plans in target communities.

·      Assist in familiarizing with existing referral pathways or developing systems for case management and referrals needing additional PSS support or other services.

·      Assist in providing context-specific PSS support to individuals, families, and community members.

·      Assist in conducting psychosocial group activities tailored to the specific needs and capacities of the groups.

·      Assist in collaborating with faith leaders and other relevant authorities to create and implement psychosocial activities in centers and communities when needed.

·      Assist social mobilizers in conducting awareness sessions for project beneficiaries.

·      Any other project-related tasks assigned by the project officer.
