Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

Job Descriptions:

Job Summary

 

·      Assist in preparing, coordinating, and submitting regular reports, ensuring alignment with donor and government standards, including submission to platforms like the Ministry of Economy Reporting Portal.

·      Support the Program Reporting and Documentation Coordinator (PRDC) in compiling progress reports from project teams and ensuring timely submission to the Head of Program.

·      Assist in analyzing project progress data, identifying gaps, and sharing findings with relevant stakeholders.

·      Facilitate capacity development of staff in reporting and documentation processes, ensuring reports meet quality standards and compliance requirements.

·      Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements:

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in journalism, social science, project management or related field.

 

Experience:

·      No Experience Required- Fresh Graduate

 

Competency:

  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, related software, databases, and communication.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
