About Handicap International:

HI has been supporting the Afghan people since 1987, starting its operations in Pakistan. Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose:

 

The HR Assistant is a pivotal role within the Human Resources department, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to facilitate the efficient functioning of HR processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both HR colleagues and employees in Nimroz.

 

The Duties and responsibilities may include but not limited to: 

 

Recruitment Support:

    • Under the supervision of HR/Admin Supervisor coordinate the recruitment including being part of the selection process and liaise with hiring managers and external candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
    • Assist in coordinating and scheduling interviews.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of job postings.
    • Communicate with candidates to collect necessary documentation and information.

 

Onboarding:

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and training schedules.
    • Ensure all required paperwork is completed and filed appropriately.

 

Employee Records Management:

    • Collect, update and secure all employees’ records correctly and confidentially on employees’ HR files, HR system and any other HR records.
    • Maintain and manage proper labeling of personnel files and recruitment files.
    • Making sure that all personnel files and recruitment files are completed on time.
    • Scan the Personnel and Recruitment files and make sure uploaded on the SharePoint.
    • Collating and filing of Performance appraisals of employees on time.
    • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee information.

 

Administrative Support:

    • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide timely and professional assistance.
    • Assist in the preparation of HR reports, presentations, documents and correspondence
    • Collect Signatures for HR Documentation in the office

 

Benefits Administration:

    • Submission of all necessary payroll information for processing
    • Support the administration of employee benefits programs.
    • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.

 

Time and Attendance:

    • Track and manage employee time and attendance records.
    • Generate reports as needed for payroll processing.

 

Compliance:

    • Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
    • Stay updated on relevant labor laws and regulations.

 

HR Communication:

    • Assist in the communication of HR policies and procedures to employees.
    • Support the distribution of relevant HR-related information.

 

Events and Programs:

    • Assist in the coordination of HR events and programs.
    • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment, or a related field is advantageous as HR Assistant for not less than 2 years.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism.
