• We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
• In this role, the hospital will have the opportunity to utilize incumbent’s expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. By analyzing day-to-day financial activities with precision, the incumbent will provide valuable insights and recommendations to upper management.
• The incumbent’s guidance will empower the upper management to make informed decisions that align with the hospital’s long-term goals. Additionally, incumbent will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the hospital’s growth and profitability.
• Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities will be integral parts of incumbent responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Making hospital financial management, managing the hospital's overall resources and operations, and communicating with the AHH head.
• Managing team and cooperates operations, monitoring the hospital's finances for steady growth, assuring all legal and regulatory documents are filed, and monitoring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Accountable for overseeing the hospitals profit & loss and Balance Sheet accounts, financial performance, and condition of operation to mitigate risk by recommending solutions and proactively identifying emerging trends (exposures or opportunities) to help achieve the strategic goals.
• Developing cash management policy and maintain petty cash as per AHH polices.
• Record all transactions in financial software and Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) ERP following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and ensure vouchers and other financial documents are properly filed.
• Responsible for planning cash management strategies.
• Train accountants and assist the management in hiring finance-related staff.
• Prepare and manage annual financial budget, quarterly forecasting, month-end corporate report, and variances analysis report.
• Establish and maintain consistent methodologies for performing financial business reviews on the effectiveness of the service-provider relationship.
• Assist accountants in ensuring all entries are properly recorded and will be responsible for reviewing the financials before the books close.
• Support the AHH head in formulating strategic and long-term business plans and financial models.
• Responsible for finalizing the annual statements & notes of the financials and liaising with the external Auditors to finalize the Audited Financial Statements.
• Liaising with Internal Auditors & Controllers to rectify any Internal audit findings related to the Finance Department.
• Assist the organization in maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions for better cooperation and collaboration.

Job Requirements

1. Education:

• Bachelor degree is a must of Bachelor of Business Administration (Specialization in Finance & Accounting), Economic and or other related field. (Masters and ACCA qualified are preferred)

2. Knowledge and Work Experience:

• At least 7+ years of experience in a senior management position specially in Financial management and or accounting.
• Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.
