The head office of the organization is in Kabul, Afghanistan, and delivers humanitarian services in the sectors of Livelihood, Local Governance, WASH, and Emergency through its four regional offices in Mazar, Herat, Jalalabad, and the central zone in a decentralized manner.

Job Descriptions:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the design of DRM sub-projects in communities or off-site.
  • Providing overall guidance on DRM related activities also would be able to train FPs site engineers on DRM related activities.
  • Providing regular support to site engineers on natural resources management, Karez rehabilitation, water networks, and MHP.
  • Conduct training and Coaching FPs district engineers on DRM related activities.
  • To carry out the responsibilities of the role in a way that reflects RRAA’s commitment to protecting children in accordance with the Child Safeguarding Policy.
  • Update the team member for any special task and support.
  • To be The DRM focal point with familiar with DRM related activities and
  • mechanisms.
  • Support/Assist Provincial Manager and CRLP Site Engineers in all technical and supervision works to ensure timely design, contracting, implementation, and quality control of all infrastructure sub-projects (cash-for-work) under CRLP.
  • Supervise and support the provincial and district-level engineering teams of CRLP in (Design and Drawing, Quality Control, Monitoring and management of Cash-for-Work projects).
  • Provide technical assistance to the provincial and district-level engineering teams of the CRLP in program planning, formulating standard procedures, and providing specific inputs to all engineering activities.
  • Assist senior staff in formulating program targets, and monitoring and evaluating relevant field activities of CRLP.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related fields with at least 5 years’ experience in including cash for work projects and water networks and MHP.
